What? No Nominations for Cush, Maynard?

Markowski isn't happy about it. Kampe isn't happy about it. And neither am I. This year there are only four Mr. Basketball candidates -- unlike the 10 in most years. Neither Blake Cushingberry or Drew Maynard are among those 4.

Total highway robbery. Markowski makes some excellent points in this article. First, like the Oscars, it is a pleasure to be nominated, and these kids deserved at least that. Secondly, Blake is by far the best player in Macomb County -- I don't care if the county is respected or not, he's the best. And Drew is scoring more than 50% of his team's points on a lot of nights, including 48 the other day.
